4 Days Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth
Queen Elizabeth National Park
There is a reason why Queen Elizabeth National park is Uganda’s most visited game park. The never ending savannas, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands have drawn a wide range of wildlife to dwell in this place. In return, the classic big game, 10 primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 bird species attract many tourists to this national heritage. Queen Elizabeth National park is also the home of the legendary tree climbing lions of Ishasha. The resident lions have taken to a curious habit, climbing into giant fig trees and acacia trees.
In Kyambura Gorge you see chimps while the boat ride along the famous Kazinga channel is another spectacle which allows elephants, hippos, buffalos, crocodiles and plenty of birds in the most relaxed manner possible.
Salt mining an activity carried out on Lake Katwe is another exciting experience that is an extra by the presence of the flamingos which are found only in this place in the whole of Uganda. The sunrise and sunset from the Mweya peninsula is simply running and besides all the wild life, the park boasts of over 600 bird species thus making it the ultimate birder’s haven.
